Yield: four 6 oz. cups of tea

Ingredients
- 3 c. water
- ¼ inch sliced fresh ginger
- 4 to 6 cardamom pods, opened
- ¼ tsp. aniseed
- 4 tsp. of Red label tea powder, or 5 regular tea bags
- 1 c. 2% milk (more or less, to taste)
- sugar, to taste
Directions
- Boil the water.
- Add ginger, cardamom, aniseed, and tea powder/bags
- Boil for two minutes.
- Add milk.
- Heat over medium heat until desired drinking temperature.
- Strain and pour. Add sugar to taste.
