Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750 mL) dry red wine
- ½ c. water
- ½ c. sugar
- 2 3-4 inch cinnamon sticks
- ¼ tsp. cloves
- 1 orange, sliced
- ¼ lemon, sliced
Directions
- In a large saucepan, boil the water.
- Add everything but the wine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat, add wine, and heat to taste (do not boil).
Notes
- Gluvine is also known as "mulled wine".
