Yield: about a dozen small biscuits (enough to cover the top of a 10 inch soup pot)

Ingredients

  • 1 c. instant biscuit mix (Bisquick) or self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • ¼ tsp. thyme
  • ¼ tsp. garlic salt
  • ¼ - ½ tsp. sage
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 6 Tbsp. milk

Directions

  • Mix together everything but the milk.
  • Add the milk and mix.
  • With floured hands, roll into small (1 ½ inch round, ½ inch thick) biscuits.
  • Layer the biscuits on top of a chicken pot pie.
  • Cook uncovered at 450 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
