Ingredients
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1 lb. Semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 T. amaretto liqueur
- ¼ c. dipping chocolate, cocoa, powdered sugar, chopped almonds, or shredded coconut
Directions
- In a saucepan, bring cream to a boil.
- Pour cream over chopped chocolate in a mixing bowl. Let sit for 30 seconds, then whisk until smooth.
- Stir in amaretto and cool in the refrigerator.
- When cold, beat until fluffy.
- Spoon out small mounds; roll into one-inch balls in the palm of your hand. Dip truffles in dipping chocolate, or roll in cocoa, powdered sugar, chopped almonds, or shredded coconut.
- Keep refrigerated.
