Ingredients
- 2 ½ Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cocoa powder
- ½ tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 cups water
- 1 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
- 1 12-ounce can of tomato sauce
Directions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- Stirring constantly, slowly add enough of the water to make a thin paste.
- Pour into pan and add the oil and the rest of the water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in tomato sauce.
Notes
- You can use mild or hot chili powder; we prefer mild.
