We recently purchased a new battery for Diann’s 3rd-generation iPod from ipodjuice.com. I just wanted to post a thumbs-up to the ladies and gentlemen running that show: the directions were detailed and clear, the little tool used to pop open the iPod case was creative and effective, and they offered to recycle the old battery for us (unneeded, as we’ll do that locally, but still nice). We chose the slightly larger battery for an extra $7; it fits exactly in the iPod case and the battery life appears excellent so far.
In case you’re wondering, no, I didn’t accept anything from them for this review. (They offer a small store credit if you link to them, but we have only one iPod here so there’s no sense accepting it to color this review.)
